2015 Raleigh RX 1.0

There's no cyclocross course too challenging and no commute too hared for Raleigh's RX 1.0. Its chassis is crafted from butted aluminum with a tapered carbon fork to make short work of steep climbs, frozen ruts, and off-camber corners. Its SRAM drivetrain provides high-level shifting while you churn out the power on the FSA cranks. And when you're cross-eyed with two laps to go or simply late for a meeting, you won't have to worry about staying on track thanks to the nimble Weinmann wheels, grippy Clement tires, and powerful Tektro cantilever brakes. You'll also love the fine Raleigh bar, stem, seatpost and seat.

    Comments:

Snappy all arounder with a focus on cyclocross. The 105 equipment shifts great, and the bike handles very nimbly. I have taken it on 600+ mile road tours as well as off road cyclocross training rides and it hasn't let me down. Oh, at 50cm it weighs in at about 18 lbs., the lightest bike I've owned.

      Comments:

The bike stands out with its distinctive flat green paint. I like that. It is a verycomfortable, but responsive ride. A bit slow on pavement, ot is fast for Towpath rides and capable off road. I thouroughly enjoy it as a complement to mytraditional mountain and road bikes
