Shimano’s SH-RP3 Road Shoe offers excellent value and versatility for the road-going cyclist. Its fiberglass reinforced nylon sole is rated at medium stiffness for a blend of performance and comfort, and it can be mounted with both SPD or SPD-SL style cleats for use with virtually any clipless pedal system. Up top, the synthetic leather is light and strong, and the fit features a secure ratcheting buckle plus a pressure-relieving offset strap at the midfoot. Vents front and rear facilitate airflow while riding, and the SH-RP3 is shaped on Shimano’s Dynalast form to optimize the pedal stroke and reduce fatigue.
