The U20 Touch is a sturdy upright bike with high-quality components for maximum performance and durability. Our friction-free magnetic resistance system and a heavy flywheel deliver a smooth and reliable workout. The Comfort Arc™ seat and multi-position handgrips provide a comfortable workout position. The U20 Touch also features a 10" touchscreen HD display with Virtual Active™ programming. A free wireless chest strap is included for the most accurate heart rate monitoring.
Seems like a basically good quality home exercise bike, however after trying the touch model I decided to go with the U20 with classic console instead. The touch console runs you anywhere from $600-$900 more than the classic. One of the main features Touch gets you is the virtual interactive technology, which is nice in concept but weak in execution. You really do not feel like you are riding the bike in the scenery, it's more like watching a collage of cut-scenes from pretty locations and experiencing only the vaguest effect on pedalling resistance. If the location shows rough terrain the pedalling will eventually be a bit harder, you will not feel the individual ups and downs though, and the camera will often glide off the track and glide over piles of rocks you could not bicycle through (and I've done my share of mountain biking). And the scenery cuts to a new location every few seconds, so you really don't feel like you've pedalled to wherever you're now at. Might as well just turn the TV on to a travel or nature channel and pedal to that.
Bottom LineNo, I would not recommend this to a friend
