The Box Three Rear Derailleur simplifies the features found on the Prime 9 Box One and Two rear derailleurs making for a fully featured wallet friendly rear derailleur. Including a Limited Slip Clutch, Sealed bearing pulleys and a solid construction Box Three Rear derailleurs are compatible with 11-46 and 11-50t derailleurs making it one of the most versatile derailleur offerings for Prime 9.

The Box Three Prime 9 cassette is a great all-around cassette option. All cogs are stamped from steel and subsequently, the larger ones are pinned to alloy spiders. The Box Two E-Bike Cassette differentiates itself from its non-e-bike sibling by offering high gears with more teeth to withstand the rigors of modern E-Bike riding. Adding an extra tooth to each of the three highest gears provides increased durability and decreased wear by distributing the load over a larger area! For Box braking we’ve limited the use of our Oversized Technology to the V area since the levers need to be minimalist and largely act as a remote for the V-Brakes. To reduce lateral deflection at the V we chose to enlarge the pivot areas and arms while tightening tolerances at their interfaces. We robbed material from unloaded sections to reinforce these zones of high stress. Not only are you going to be more efficient with brake power delivery, but you’ll also feel the instant response of deceleration. Key differences: The Box One V-Brake are the only brakes in the Box line-up to be blessed with Oversized Technology. They are also the only model to use sealed precision bearings to further reduce non-rotational movement. The 108mm long-reach brakes are excellent for BMX, mountain, city, urban and tandem bicycles using linear-pull-compatible levers. The 85-mm short reach (AKA mini-V) brakes are an excellent choice for cyclocross or drop-bar gravel bikes.

Our Box Four tier is for those people who just want less fuss! You're fond of Prime 9, but know 8 is enough, and surely 11-42T is plenty of range for an 8-speed cassette. Our derailleur still has the Limited Slip clutch but now arrives with a more compact cage. The custom 8-speed chain is built for abuse, although it's sophisticated enough to have its own Wide/narrow chainring. Push through fewer gears with a no-nonsense shifter. This combo will transport you to 1 by territory for less than $200.

Our Box Two tier's mission in life is to deliver performance similar to the Box One but without its exotic (and costly) features. You still get the Tri-Pack Clutch in our derailleur only it isn't adjustable. The cassette's 11-50T range is equally impressive but we don't cut it out of a single block of steel. The action on the shifter is just as snappy although you don't get the rigid die-cast pull lever. The chain boasts the same unique ability to mate with a wide/narrow chainring except you give up the trick DLC top coat. You're hardly shortchanging yourself with Box Two.

Our clever Splits clamp attaches our Triggy directly to the handlebar. Special plastic compounds and production process allow flexibility within the clamp to have it installed, while grips and brakes are still on the bars. Just snap it on! A heat treated inlay made of stainless steel with a laser engraved finish, give it a unique and classy look. By the way: SRAM shifter triggers can also also be attached to the handlebars using our Splits clamp.

Who does not love a nicely cleaned up cockpit? This neatly CNC-machined piece of black anodized and laser engraved 6061-T6 Aluminum attaches all Triggys directly to a Shimano I-Spec II brake and saves an extra clamp on the handlebars. You can also use it to mate SRAM triggers with Shimano brakes.
